new (s)

oh great...again! i wanted to keep up with my blog....and look what happens! Ok, enough, from now on i am not going to apologize for not blogging....i'm just going to blog and be done with it!

So on to whats up....i am now in the states...and i think i'm in culture shock. About math. They do it sooo differently here. I wonder why? I learned the same things, but they were explained and taught and done so different! I feel so stupid because i don't understand and i have to keep asking the teacher what to do. The thing is i get tripped up on pre requisite stuff, things i should already know... to even be in the class! I hope that we get to the functions stuff soon....i understand that!

But what is even more a shock than math, is that i am doing well in chemistry!! i got 96% on my last exam and overall i have an A! I can't believe it! well, i just hope it stays this way!!

It's interesting how one learns differently in different languages...I think I learn math better in German... =]

My school is also very different....for one it's public, my old one was private, and this school is a lot bigger too. I kinda like my school, i think iit will grow on my...but at the moment, i'm not that into it....

living with my grandparents has been interesting too....it's a little easier than i thought it would be, but on the other hand some things a harder. Like i thought being in the same house would be a big problem, but really we hardly cross each other. What is harder than expected is the meals; it's difficult to set up a meal plan because they are kind of on a different schedule than we are, or were; they eat at 6 or 6:30, we usually ate at 7 or 8....i think it's all a matter of time though, before we get into an agreeable rhythm =]

in the mean time our container comes tomorrow!!!!!! yea!!!!!!! can't wait....but that means i have to hang up my clothes to make room for all my new/old stuff =P i haven't put everything in my drawers yet...ugh...
