thoughts on snow

okay...so i haven't posted anything in a realllllly long time..sorry!! but i'll try now.....

It's snowing right now; I love how snow is always different...Every year; not one flake is the same as any others that have fallen....But we still love them all....
Another thing I like about snow is how it makes everything so much quieter, how it dampens sounds.....Even if you like noise, you can't know what noise is without the quiet.....
now for a mini-poem....In German they are called 'Elfchens', or 'Elevens' because the poem only has eleven words...1 word, a colour; 2 words, something that is that colour; 3, that something does something; 4, a sentence starting with 'I'; and 1, an ending word:

Gray
Gray skies
falling down white
I like sky-pieces
Cold

okay, that wasn't great....but i'll try again tomorrow.....maybe....

almost summer!!!

sooo....it's almost summer!! Well, in the rest of the modern world it has been so for the last month and a half, however we here in Germany have continued to toil away at work and school. But school ends in 3 days!!! You can not imagine how grateful we are that summer does exist, amd that we are 3 days away from it! I'm quite excited this year, but also sad; the end of this year means I only have one more school year left in Germany. I hope that it will be a wonderful one!

Have a great summer everybody!

wow...sorry I haven't posted anything recently....truly I haven't had time, what with exams and exchange students and other school work. But today all that ended for the 6 senior classes of my school...because today was Abi-streich!! Now I believe I have said something about this before, but I'll do it again. Abi-streich, or senior prank day, or senior strike day; is the day where the senior get to do pretty much whatever they want, to the teachers and to the school. This years theme was rABIoaktiv...like radioaktiv...radioactive...and the byline was 'ein strahlender abgang', 'a radient departure'. They actually did a pretty good job....so good that i'm too tired to say anymore..ask me if you really want to know =)

writers block

i'm looking for thoughts and happenings to put into a book. Do any of you have any ideas? The main thought is a person who feels lonely, all their family and friends have left for some reason or another (please tell me why) and they must now cope on their own (please tell me with what)

thank you for all suggestions!

A look back at my last trip back

Yea! I'm back from a 10 day vacation in the USA from the 19th till Saturday/Sunday the 28th (meaning I left Saturday and landed on Sunday). And it was wonderful! My birthday was on Friday the 20th and I was at my grandparents on my dad's side, it was a good visit with them, even though my grandmother isn't feeling very well. That night I watched Prince Caspian with my Dad which I got for my birthday, and even though my dad tried to keep me up for a few more hours (I found out later why), I soon after went up to bed. The next morning my dad woke me quietly at 8ish and told me that a belated birthday present was waiting down stairs. I was tired and didn't get up right away, but by 8:45 I was too curios and decided to go on down. What I found in my uncles old bedroom was 2 of my cousins, Katrina and Moriah, who I haven't seen in 3 years. Needless to say I was overjoyed, I couldn't suppress a small squeal which woke them up and then they also started squealing! It was a wonderful surprise! All day we ran around playing hide-and-seek and doing other things that you can only do with cousins. It was great to catch up on stuff.

Thoughts on my new favourite movie...

..which is...Twilight! Yeah, say what you want, that it's unrealistic, it's too vampire-ish, it's badly written, whatever...it is still my new favourite movie! I read the books thinking that they were going to be really weird, but I couldn't put them down! And I even went into the movie thinking it was going to really suck, but came out smiling! I almost cried when Edward was playing Bella's lullaby, *sigh*, and we all were wowing when they stepped out of the car and he had his awesome sunglasses on! A great movie, a great book, can't wait for the next one!

Ask me about it...I would love to elaborate...

Weather thoughts

I love warm winter days, days where you can almost see that spring will be here soon. Not to say that I don't like winter, actually it's my favourite season, but to me, winter isn't winter without snow.
And we don't have any snow. Just bitter cold and wind. Speaking about wind, on Friday we almost had a tornado, well, not really, but if we were in flat lands, it would have been. The sky was black and then it would suddenly be blue; it would rain, and then the sun would shine. Needless to say, the weather was weird.

What is your favourite season? Tell me more...
